This Riad was absolutely perfect for our group of friends! We loved everything about the place, the uniquely designed rooms, the comfy beds, the common areas, the pool, the location right in the middle of the old city, the breakfast served on the rooftop and the amazing Khalid and the rest of the team. The pictures don’t actually do it justice, it’s much better IRL – we would go back again in a heartbeat!

A truly stunning hotel, it is an oasis of calm in the medina. One minute you can be enjoying the hustle and bustle of the medina and then you walk down a narrow passageway, through a beautiful old wooden doorway and into what seems another world in the riad. The design and architecture is amazing, every room is fantastic and being built around an atrium, they are bathed in natural light, but calm and cool when the medina outside is hot and noisy.

Every single room is spotlessly clean and packed with Moroccan charm and character. Forget the heat of the medina and relax in the pool or enjoy the sun by reclining on the sun loungers on the roof terrace, the choice is yours.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, anything you want they can arrange. Need a table booking for an evening meal? No problem. Fancy some mint tea and pastries? No problem. There are many choices of great places to eat within a short walk of the riad, but the food at Riad Alkemia is just as good, if not better.

If you really want to take home a taste of Morocco, then book a cooking class with the riad’s chef and you can learn how to make the best tagine yourself.

I can guarantee that when you get home a part of you will be wishing you were back in Marrakech at Riad Alkemia. Morocco is an amazing place and there is no better way to enjoy it than from here.

We had an absolutely magical stay at Riad Alkemia. The owners organized for us a professional storyteller, private tour of Marrakech, and a desert tour/private tent dinner/camel ride in the Agafay desert within a luxury camp. Everyone in the riad went above and beyond to make every day and moment special, relaxing and easy- the ultimate definition of luxury. Thank you Riad Alkemia !

Riad est juste sublime, encore mieux que sur les photos ! Au cœur de la Médina mais pourtant si calme et apaisant. Chambres spacieuses et tellement belles! Des petites attentions de partout, on se sent privilégiés. Nous avons privatisé le Riad pour un EVJF et le résultat était au top, au delà de nos attentes. Merci à Veronica, la gérante pour son professionnalisme et pour tout le séjour qu’elle nous as organisé (le repas dans le désert d’Agafay était tellement superbe! Merci). Mention spéciale à Bouchra une cuisinière hors pair et Khalid qui a pris soin de notre groupe pendant tout le sejour au Riad. On recommande les yeux fermés et on espère vite revenir.
